July 4th is a big day in our country’s history: Independence Day. It’s the day we told the Brits we were going to be our own country. We haven’t looked back since.
Since July 4th is a day of celebration and spending time with our friends and family, I’ll keep this short and sweet.
Why not pick a day and make it your Financial Independence Day? Here’s what I mean.
I believe that financial independence in retirement starts with your retirement income. Your income should be there for you always, no matter how long you live. A good portion of it should be guaranteed.
It means not having to worry about being a burden on friends and family. It means enjoying what you have so you can spend time with the ones you love on your terms.
It means freedom from constant stress and worry.
So pick a day this summer and make it your Financial Independence Day.
